Honor Marie Warren is the first child for Alba and her husband Cash Warren.
Alba, 27, and Warren, 31, quietly wed on May 19 at the Beverly Hills courthouse. The two met while working on Fantastic Four, for which Warren was the director's assistant. They became engaged last December.

Troubled Britney Spears is to make an appearance in the new Pussycat Dolls video.
The troubled singer was spotted in Burbank, California, yesterday meeting up with the girl group, who are shooting the promo for When I Grow Up there.
An insider said: "She is doing a cameo in their new video shoot today."
Britney once appeared with the Pussycat Dolls as part of a special performance for her older brother Bryan's birthday.
The video is the latest venture for Britney, 26, who has been trying to get her life back on track since her breakdown in January.
It was revealed last week that she is in talks to star in and produce a new TV show, following her successful cameo appearance on comedy show How I Met Your Mother.
A source said: "Britney met with Roy Bank, the president of Merv Griffin Entertainment. It was a serious meeting and they spoke about various programme ideas - including a new music show."
The Gimme More star has also reportedly been approached about taking on the role of Sandy in a Broadway revival of hit musical Grease.

Canadian country-pop singer Shania Twain has broken her silence over her split from husband Robert “Mutt” Lange.
In a statement to her “beloved fans” posted on her Web site, the country superstar said she now needs time to heal her “broken heart.” "As I am sure you have seen or heard; I am going through a rough time personally in my life," People quoted her, as stating on the website.
"I wanted you all to know that I could not be getting through this without you. Your letters, emails and words of encouragement give me strength. Your overwhelming support reminds me to smile, no matter how deep the pain and to always be grateful for all the beautiful blessings in my life,” she added.

A spokesperson for Shania confirmed in May that the couple was splitting after 14 years of marriage.
Sources “close to the situation” claim that Lange was involved with a woman named Marie-Ann Thiebaud, a long-time secretary and manager of the couple’s chateau in Switzerland. "I have so much to say but I know the best way for me to speak is through my music. This is my therapy, my passion, and my love. I look forward to sharing it with all of you as I begin this new journey,” Twain said.

Hollywood actress Charlize Theron has revealed that she has no plans of ever getting married to her long-term boyfriend Stuart Townsend.
The two of them have been through many marriage rumours throughout their seven-year long romance, but none of it has affected them and they are still as close and committed as any married couple. The only difference being that they are not married and they have no plans to change their situation.
"Even when I was a little girl I never dreamed of the white dress and all of that,” Contactmusic quoted Charlize as telling the July issue of Glamour magazine. "I want to be clear: I am not judgmental about marriage. I am judgmental about how our government doesn't want to see the reality of gay and lesbian marriages," she said.

But she does not say that keeping a long relationship is easy, as it requires the same kind of attention as a marriage. "I think if you are in a one or two-year relationship, love is enough. You can thrive on that. Because if that intrigue runs out, you're not going to want to go home anymore," she said.
Being serious in a relationship does not mean that one loses their freedom to express, as according to Theron, letting each other flirt and develop crushes on other members of the opposite sex, adds spice to life.
"I've always said that I worry about being with a man who doesn't flirt. I love that Stuart can watch tennis and tell me that he's got a crush on a tennis player. We're not meant to just like one person. But (that) doesn't mean you go and build a life with another person," she added.
Actress Cameron Diaz has denied rumours that she is dating rapper P. Diddy and model Paul Sculfor, saying she loves being alone.
Cameron says she doesn't need to be with someone as she is comfortable on her own, new-magazine.co.uk reports. "I love being alone - I love it. I'm good at it. But not in a weird way, not like leave me alone - it's just I'm very comfortable by myself," Cameron said.
Cameron was earlier romantically involved with pop star Justin Timberlake but they broke up. She feels her past relationships have taught her a lot. "I think I finally know the way love works best. Basically, the most important thing is to really know yourself," she said.
